The Nature of Wood/Epoxy

A Note About Real Wood

Wood is a natural material. Over time, it may expand, contract, darken, lighten, or shift slightly with changes in temperature, humidity, and light exposure.

Natural grain patterns, knots, markings, tones, and color variations are part of the beauty of real wood and are not considered defects.

A Note About Epoxy

Epoxy is durable, but it is not indestructible.

It can:

  • Scratch or dull over time

  • Soften or become damaged from heat

  • Yellow with prolonged UV exposure

  • Show small bubbles or handmade variations

These characteristics are normal with handcrafted epoxy work.
